Christmas Concert: Mark Your Calendar!

We are excited to announce that contemporary Christian artist Mark Schultz will be at Calvary on December 5th for a concert performance of his What Do You Give A King? tour!

Mark has been nominated for 14 Dove Awards and has had 10 #1 Singles. Mark will be performing his Christmas tracks “The First Noel” and “When Love Was Born” as well as some of his original songs. Known for hits “He’s My Son,” “Letters From War,” and “All Things Possible,” Mark Schultz is sure to entertain and delight!

Isn't There Anyone Who Knows What Christmas is All About?

In the midst of a busy, busy week - a week where stores are open until midnight to allow you to finish your shopping, post office lines are out the door, the to-do list is pages long, travel times seemingly double from a typical week; here's something to keep you rooted in the true meaning of Christmas and hopefully to lighten to load.

So, What is a Live Nativity?

I began serving here at Calvary 2 1/2 years ago, and when I first arrived everyone told me about this thing called the 'Live Nativity,' and how excited they were for me to see it. At the time all I could think to myself was, "what the heck is a Live Nativity?"Well, a few months later I was able to see it first hand (and participate), and I understood why people were so excited. In short, it is this: a chance to hear the story of Jesus' birth in a new way: with scenes of the story accompanied by wonderful, live music, excellent story telling, live animals (my favorite part), and, of course, Christmas cookies. This is a terrific way for the entire family to really dive head-first into the Advent and Christmas season.
